Young White Dragon

CR 6 large dragon

A young white dragon is circling overhead, drawn by the smell of the party's rations.

Running it

  • It can fly: fight it somewhere with a low ceiling, or it will stay out of reach of anyone without a ranged attack.
  • It shrugs off some damage types (cold (immune)). Hint at this after the first hit rather than before.
  • Vain and proud: dragons pause to boast, and can be talked into a bargain if flattered.

Best for. A solo threat for 4 characters of level 4–8, or one piece of a bigger fight. Found in: arctic.
